I just got back from visiting my sister in TN and I can’t express how much I love the city of Nashville! It was so good to see Brooke again, and I got to bring my girlfriend Tori along to boot! The sunshine felt absolutely amazing, and it was so nice to throw a dress and denim jacket on to go shopping on 12South. This post’s song inspo wasn’t hard to come up with because we saw Thomas Rhett two times during our visit! It’s such a cool city because you never know what celebrity you’ll see out to eat or shopping on any old day! Speaking of eating… the food in this city is the best. You have to visit Burger Up on 12South and get the friend pickles. Taco Mamacita in Edgehill is home of my favorite meal. Seriously, we had it twice haha! I always get a margarita (two of them), appetizer sampler (queso is the bomb), General Homeboy Tacos with Mexican street corn…I promise you this is what dreams are made of! Any other Nashville lovers out there?

Happy Weekend!! A few weeks back I mentioned that my song inspiration for a post was Light of Day from Aubrie Sellers and that I couldn’t get enough of that track… WELL I bought the album New City Blues and have been obsessed with it. It’s country with some serious edge to it, garage country! I love crankin it in the car and its perfect to pregame a girls night out! Last night Pat and I had a date night and went to 3S Artspace in Portsmouth to see The Felice Brothers w/ Aubrie Sellers. I honestly had no clue who the Felice Brothers were, sorry to any fans of their fans, but I had to see Aubrie Sellers performing so close to home! She put on such a great show and I even had the opportunity to chat with her! Not only does she sound amazing live, but she’s absolutely beautiful and equally as kind. I am so pumped about last night!! Make sure to check her out if she’s in your area, tour dates are here. Hope your weekend is amazing and you have a Happy Easter tomorrow 🙂

The Fourth weekend of every month The Fairgrounds Nashville is home to the Nashville Flea Market! It’s in the top 10 flea markets in the country with up to 2,000 booths with a range of antiques, clothing boutiques, hand crafted furniture…you name it! My favorite part of the flea market was discovering Southern Sap Woodworks, they had a dining room table and benches that knocked my socks off. If I lived in Tennessee I would have zero dollars left to my name! Here are a couple pics of an awesome day at the market with family, friends, gorgeous Nashville weather and a special appearance with my nephew, Indiana Bones!
Also: if you are like me and always wondered where the hell the name flea market came from?! I did a little googling for ya! Flea Markets origin came in “1917, especially in reference to the marché aux puces in Paris, so-called ‘because there are so many second-hand articles sold of all kinds that they are believed to gather fleas.’ ” Thank ya Dictionary.com!
I’m so excited to share with you all that I am going on my first mission trip to Nicaragua! We (CLC team) will be at an orphanage on Isla de Ometepe. The process has already been so rewarding that I can’t even imagine how it will feel when the trip is over. I really love the team I am going with and have enjoyed shopping for hair products to bring to the kids!
It’s been amazing how many family, friends and clients have donated to the fund or donated supplies. So a BIG thank you to everyone! I can’t wait to share my experience with you when I am back! Please keep our group in your thoughts and prayers! -Whit
Anyone else been on a mission trip?!
Song Inspo>> Chris Stapleton// Traveller…can’t get enough of this album. Will be on repeat for the plane!

I absolutely love to travel! There is nothing that excites me or pushes me out of my comfort zone more than traveling to a different country, state or even town. I just had the privilege to visit Barbados “on holiday” and it’s such a beautiful country! To be honest, I knew very little about Barbados, including where it was. I only knew it was the home of Rihanna…so that’s all I needed to know! I met amazing Bajans, ate some of the best food I’ve EVER had and relaxed on the softest sand next to the most turquoise water I have ever seen!
One of my best friends during vaca: Banks Caribbean Lager… Banks definitely treated me better than the rum punches!
I had some great company!
A cute bull grazing and the East Coast of Barbados at Bathsheba in St. Joseph.
Until next time Barbados!
