Hey frands! Thought I would do a quick tutorial of the crown braid I was wearing at the flea market! All you need is some bobby pins (these are my fave because there are so many, and like socks, my bobby pins are always missing haha and they are great for holding updos), clear elastics and some texturizing spray I like Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray $44 or Redken’s Windblown 05 $19. It’s the perfect style for next day hair and you’ll be sure to get compliments!!

BaByliss Pro Curling Iron Tutorial
Hey All! Thought I would post a tutorial on curling your hair! There are actually dos and don’ts to curling and I wanted to share them with you. I’m going to be using a Bayliss Pro 1-1/4″ iron (Currently on sale here) to create two different looks. The picture above on the left is using alternate curl directions for a more tousled wave look, while the look on the right has curls all going in the same direction! I forgot to mention in the tutorial that my heat is set on med-hi and if your hair is very damaged or fragile feel free to turn it down! Make sure to follow me on instagram for more give-aways and tutorial notifications and #GoldiesArrow if you give it a go! I’d love to see your curls 🙂
BaByliss Pro Winner: Congrats to @AlyssaXO87 … a Bayliss Pro is headed your way!!
Ummm Count: umm like 17 hahaha! I will work on this…maybe!
Tutorial: Day Off Hair
Today I thought I’d put together a quick tutorial on styling your hair on a day off! It’s a good alternative to the 1/2 up top knot, requires no curling iron/wand and is a go-to of mine 🙂 I also apologize for my roots and my use of “dry shamps.” Kinda forgot I was making a tutorial and am a Heather Dubrow Real Housewives lover… and we know she loves her “champs” haha!
*If you want to rock the braid all day instead of night feel free to do that! Just add a few random curls/waves with your curling wand for a night out look instead! Ladies with naturally curly hair this is awesome for next day hair after you’ve had a blowout or straightened it. It may help to put a little Moroccan Oil on your ends before you braid and then lock the braid in with some hairspray! If your hair is fine, feel free to use hairspray as well before going to bed! I hope you enjoy!
Fall Hair Trends

So Fall is here and every time there is a change of season my clients will say they want a change. I thought I would share/explain what my favorite fall trends are! Bronde, Ecaille and going red. Here are my favorite trends and pictures of my clients rocking them:
Ecaille- a.k.a Tortoise Shell Hair Color. Basically keeping your summer sombre (soft ombre) and richening it with warmer tones like caramel, mahogany and honey. If you have your summer ombre, ask your stylist to maybe deepen your roots a bit, put some bright face framing tones and then tone or gloss your bright highlights with a golden honey tone. Literally think of all the different colors in your tortoise shell sunnies.
Tutorial: Dutch Half-Up Top Knot
The Half-Up Top Knot trend is still in full force and I thought I’d add something a little different with a dutch braid! This style is super easy. I filmed this right before I went to work and it took me less than 5 minutes (hence the tired eyes and scratchy throat haha)! Any more suggestions on tutorials you’d like to see? Let me know!
